Kathy Kinghorn has been a trauma therapist for over 13 years, and was a facilitator in my first Advanced Relationship Trauma Certification for Coaches. In this conversation, we discuss the differences and similarities between trauma therapy and trauma coaching and touch on when’s the right time for one or the other. For some, coaching might be the thing that prepares someone for therapy. For others, therapy might come before coaching and sometimes people can benefit from both.  We also talk about the disconnect between some therapists and coaches and how we envision that relationship between the two professions in the future.
