At first she thought it was a minor injury that would heal. His condition continued to deteriorate until he was eventually diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury. The impact on their family, the battles with the City and workers compensation and his eventual retirement. Plus the unexpected financial drain on their family. Fortunately her financial experience and actions saved them from the devastating impact of the expenses they paid.
