Traveling the World by RV with Heath & Alyssa Padgett

from The World Wanderers Podcast · host Amanda Kingsmith and Ryan Ferguson

This week on the podcast we are joined by Heath & Alyssa Padgett! Their story started with a 50-state cross-country road trip in an old RV as two broke newlyweds. After they finished that trip, they had fallen in love with travel and couldn't imagine go back to what they were doing before they started traveling, but also wanted to create value in their work and career. Over the last 8 years, they've written two best-selling books, started & sold a software business, and hosted a conference for fellow RV entrepreneurs. To keep traveling, they sold all their businesses, giving them the time to enjoy traveling with their two beautiful kiddos. They're currently splitting their time between Colorado and international travels as a family of four, and our paths crossed outside of a Starbucks in Kanazawa, Japan! In this episode of the podcast, Heath and Alyssa share a bit about their journey as travelers, entrepreneurs and parents, including why they love traveling the world by RV, how they've been able to strike a balance between working and traveling, what it was like traveling Japan in an RV, what's next for them travel-wise, and much more.
