Tre Singleton Steps Up for Cyclones | Big 12 Basketball News

The Iowa State Cyclones are rebuilding after losing three starters and key contributor Nate Heise, but Tre Singleton is stepping up as a critical piece. A highly-rated transfer from Northwestern, Singleton is being mentored by assistants Erik Crawford and Nate Schmidt to master the new system — focusing not just on scoring, but on playmaking and defense. With a game built on strength and balance, he’s seen as the ideal successor to NBA-bound Joshua Jefferson, sharing similar goals and skillset. His jump shot is a key offseason priority, and the coaching staff is laser-focused on unlocking his full potential to lead the team’s offensive charge.
