A good portion of the Abacos suffered severe devastation and many have miracuously bounced back with great success along with a ton of money and much hard work. Treasure Cay on the other hand was left for dead as the privately owned community has been neglected through bad management and neglect. The stories highlight that Treasure Cay was the original destinations for sport fisherman and prestigeous Bill Fish Tournaments in the Abacos.
