At some point I formed the goal of reading all the books represented in that old card game. Treasure Island was one of the books highlighted by Robert Louis Stevenson. Here is the first installment of that book, the three chapters that introduce our hero, Jim Hawkins, his dear mother and short-lived father, the Admiral Benbow Inn, and of course the old sea salt, Billy Bones, who hires Jim to keep a “weather eye out for a seafaring man with one leg.” This is just the beginning of the tremendous adventure of Treasure Island, written by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson in 1883, but still as exciting and hair-raising as ever.Now sit back, relax, and listen to this story come to life.Listening to audiobooks really does count as reading, and there's no better way to relax than to hear Stories Come to Life!
