Treasure Island Part II Chapter II - At the Sign of the "Spy-Glass"

In which the young narrator sets out to find the bustling tavern marked by a brass spy-glass and there encounters the amiable one-legged cook, Mr. Silver, whose lively spirit and seafaring tales bring a fresh air of camaraderie amidst a mysterious pursuit. Together with the squire and doctor, they share tales and plans on the quayside, readying themselves for the ventures that lie before them.
