Treasure Island Part II Chapter IV - The Voyage

In which the voyage to Treasure Island is set forth with a ship conspicuously well supplied and a crew showing sundry characters, among them a troublesome officer and a singularly limping but valiant cook with a parrot that utters pirate phrases. Amidst growing tension and a wary captain, a clandestine encounter within the ship’s apple barrel reveals a matter of grave import that places the fate of the honest men in young Hawkins’s keeping.
