Treasure Island Part III Chapter III - The Man of the Island

In which young Jim encounters a wild but human inhabitant of the island named Ben Gunn, who reveals himself as a marooned man with a mysterious past and an intriguing knowledge of the treasure. Their strange and earnest exchange is abruptly interrupted by the distant sounds of battle, drawing them both toward the unfolding conflict at the anchorage.
