Sun Chemical’s David Randall discusses the latest trends in two—and three-piece can decorating and solutions that are shaping the future of the market while balancing technical performance, regulatory demands, and design. Since 2001, David Randall has worked on special-effect technologies blended into different ink systems, including metal deco inks. One of his most well-known and recognized projects includes printing mountain designs on beer cans that change to blue when cold. He has worked on other metal packaging projects worldwide, focusing on craft beer manufacturers' business development.
