On March 30th, Trent Pierce is coming back to Missouri for his senior year, locking in with the Tigers after a source confirmed it this week. The 6'10 forward has been all Mizzou through three seasons, starting 34 games and averaging 6.3 points with 2 points. Eight rebounds per outing. This past season, he set out the non-conference games, but exploded once he hit the court, dropping 10.4 points, grabbing 3.8 forwards, and dishing 1.2 assists while shooting nearly 50% from the field.
His best numbers yet. He's the first Tiger to commit to returning, while guys like Anthony Robinson II, Sebastian Mack, and others still got decisions pending. Javon Porter might join the mix if he gets that medical waiver. Missouri's eyeing at least three open spots when the transfer portal fires up, so expect move soon.
Keep it locked on the Tigers roster shakeup as it unfolds.
