In this episode, we welcome Trevor Thompson to the show. He is a Senior Acquisitions Editor at Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co. He has taught at the University of Chicago Divinity School (as lecturer of Koine Greek), at Abilene Christian University, and now at Calvin University. He is the co-translator of Galen's On the Avoidance of Grief and author of over seventy encyclopedia articles. He is a co-editor of two volumes: Ephesos as a Religious Center Under the Principate and Christian Body, Christian Self: Concepts of Early Christian Personhood. His publisher, Eerdmans, is responsible for Jesus and the Eyewitnesses: The Gospels as Eyewitness Testimony by Richard Bauckham and Christobiography: Memory, History, and the Reliability of the Gospels by Craig Keener.
