Mary Zawadzki is a Certified Professional Cancer Coach who comes from eight years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector and is someone who cares deeply about fostering a positive community engagement. Throughout her social support practice, she engages in counselling clients at various stages of their healing journeys from a trauma informed lens. Her experience in crisis management allows her to confidently support clients and for them to be heard and validated in their experience. Mary uses her practice skills in the areas of providing empathetic support, active listening, problem solving and compassionate care to clients seeking services. Mary has work experience in managing Volunteer Peer Support programs, education services, and patient navigation specifically for the skin cancer patient community across Canada.
