Tribal Council 2020 Candidacy

Welcome to episode #18 First and foremost thank you all for listening to the podcast. I declared my candidacy a couple months ago, but I needed to petition for signatures to get on the ballot for the 2020 Tribal Elections. Last week, I got a letter form the Tribal Elections Board that I was officially on the ballot! I am beyond grateful and truly humbled that I may have a chance to serve our Yaqui people in a leadership capacity. In this episode I speak a little bit about myself and where I'm from, my family, and my roots/ancestors. Most importantly, I reveal what my goals are (platform) or what I envision for the Tribe. I would like to promote Native Wellness, Education, and Empowerment all with a "cultural match".
