Kayla also shared her biggest money mistake since starting the business, going right back to the early days when trademarking (what became) Tribe Skincare wasn't top of the priorities list. Receiving a cease & desist ended up being super costly, and a big money mistake. In hindsight, it would have been a lot cheaper to just pay to trademark the brand over completely changing everything.
