To act or not to act, that is the question. There is nothing quite like the emotional flood that comes when our system is activated. The rush of 'feelings'. The anger, hurt, or stomach-churning dread. The need to fix, control, spit venom or retreat to 'pass the buck' on feeling the way you' re feeling. The desire to feel anything different. I gotcha friend.  The wound that caused the hurt was most likely not your fault, but what happens now is entirely in your hands.
