He was born and raised in a small country town in N. Florida where he dealt with tons of prejudice as a bi-racial kid. After seeing the drumlins at FAMU, he immediately fell in love with the drums (no surprise based on his name). Believe it or not, Jai got his start DJing by after selling mixtapes out of his Tahoe that had enough sound system equipment for an arena concert. He made his way to ATL and DJ'd the club scene when he met Boomman and the Authentic Empire crew.
