Tristan Steventon (StevTech)

From the bush to the Army and back to the bush. Let's chat about drones and agriculture. The quote from Mark Twain “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life" I feel summarises my conversation with Tristan Steventon of StevTech. Country born and bred then spending a career in Defence, Tristan understands the unique nature of horticulture and broadacre farming coupled with the need and use of usable data to inform decision making and ultimately provide a return on investment (ROI). Tristan believes he's cracked this ROI decision, which we discuss during this episode. StevTech is impressive. Not only the ridiculously impressive technology, but the honest, trustworthy and hard-working approach to supporting one of Australia's most important industries. We hear 'help the farmers' - get across and see how StevTech is doing that every day. In this episode we also chat farming technology, barriers to success, the future of the industry and how Twitter is being used for common sense, decent and informative discussion on west!
