from Judge Mathis Podcast · host Telepictures

First, The plaintiff says she’s worked for the postal service for decades and met the defendant through her job. She’s suing, because she loaned her friend money but hasn’t been repaid. The defendant says the plaintiff’s guest got into a fight when they attended a prom event with their daughters and destroyed the venue, so she refuses to repay. Then, The plaintiff says she signed a nine-month lease with the defendant but moved out early. She found someone to take over the lease, but the defendant didn’t return her security deposit, so she’s suing. The defendant says she only agreed to refund the security deposit once the new tenant paid, but that never happened. She’s countersuing for rent and bills. Plus, The plaintiff says he was a mischievous kid and was friends with the defendant growing up. He’s suing him because he claims his buddy totaled his electric unicycle. The defendant says he’s been friends with the plaintiff for 10 years. He insists he crashed because the plaintiff didn’t instruct him correctly.
