from The Running Deep Podcast

"Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come."This week on the podcast trans Australia runner Troy Jones joins me to talk all things mental health and running. Troy is no stranger to the depths of his own mind and wants to show people in his circle and anyone he can reach through social media that you can change the way you look at your own life for the better.Troy in 2021 ran across Australia in 72 days covering 4000kms in the process. The logistics alone was one hurdle but to run on average 50-60km a day is another. Troy has the mental capability and capacity to to over come depression and push through barriers he never knew he had. This was a great conversation and I had a lot of fun recording it. Troy is a humble guy who just wants the best for the people around him.
