True Blessedness

Brother Sam begins a teaching series on the Beatitudes with particular emphasis on the first “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs Is the kingdom of heaven” He shows us how the man who has placed faith in Jesus is forever poor in spirit; that He has no self-sufficiency nor trusts in the arm of flesh nor the pleasures of life. This person knows that the only true satisfaction in this world is God and everything in this world will give only temporary satisfaction and make the soul lean.
