True Colors

Choose to take action on the things that directly impact your life and make them your highest priority if they involve you or your family. Sometimes you need to reevaluate your priorities if they allow you to become consumed by hatred for others or lazy enough to no longer want to take action to better yourself and your family. When the color you shine now is not the color you want to show, you truly have to change how you do things for yourself.You can choose to focus through the lens of politics and trends, or you can own your very own point of view and form your own personal opinions based on what you genuinely want to let in to your life. It is up to you to teach your children right from wrong and keep alive the traditions you wish to pass on to future generations. You have to be the one to shout out for freedoms not only for yourself but for those to come. You need to show them the importance of having beliefs to follow, productivity resulting from disciplined work, and encourage them to consume healthy food for the body and also the mind. If you don't want to do that, then you are only proving yourself to be a part of the bigger problem at hand.We have to do the hard things regardless of those around us trying to tear down our opinions, only to use them as blocks to stand on and raise themselves higher to preach their own philosophies. Choose wisely who you stand beside and lift each other up. It's one thing to lend your shoulders to a friend, it's something entirely different to be suppressed and stood upon.
