True Crime Story: The King County Ambush

On July 10, 2020, Baron Lee was ambushed and shot nine times in an apartment parking lot in King County, Washington, but he miraculously survived the attack. Investigators identified the perpetrators as two teenagers, Joseph Beghod and Quincy Mendez, by tracing a red Ford F-150 and discovering a GPS tracking device that had been hidden under Lee's vehicle. The hit was orchestrated by Lee's ex-wife, Sharon Kelly, who was motivated by an intense custody battle and a million-dollar trust fund; she was eventually sentenced to 13 years for attempted murder.
