So what is an apostle according to the New Testament? In this episode we return to the Scriptures to look at the apostolic ministry as it functioned in the early Church. We will explore the difference between the original apostles who were eyewitnesses of the resurrection and the broader apostolic ministry that Christ continues to give for the building of His Church. We will examine how apostles were sent by Christ, how they laid spiritual foundations, and how their authority was never about control or titles but about serving the purpose of God for the body of Christ.
