True Strength for all things is found in Christ Who empowers you, making you ready for anything and equal to anything through Him infusing His inner strength into you; so you are self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency. Philippians 4:13 You reach your full potential as a Child of God when you walk in and with all of the qualities that God alone can supply. God is who Supplies your Strength as His child in the Body of Christ, just as He did for Joshua, God assurres you He will do for you. The LORD Urged Joshua to be strong and courageous, not because of any innate abilities he may possess, but because Yahweh His God is with him and will never fail or forsake him.Be strong, confident and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageousl. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.Joshua 1:6-9 The need for God’s strength is paramount in living in a visible world with Confidence and the assurance you can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens you. Moses proclaimed both his personal faith and confidence in the Lord, and in the fact that God alone was his sufficiency. In a grand victory psalm he declared:The LORD is my strength and my song,and he has become my salvation.This is my God, and I will praise him,my father’s God, and I will exalt him. (Exod. 15:2)Moses’ strength consisted in the power that God alone could supply. It was the Lord who had given Moses and the people deliverance from their Egyptian pursuers. Moses’ words reflect more than this, however. For God’s strength was the source of Moses’ personal salvation. Because of his relation to the LORD, Moses could have strong courage and full confidence to be able to accomplish his divinely appointed tasks that lay ahead. As well, Moses had confident faith that God would also lead his people into the land of promise (vv. 13, 17-18)God empowers you with His Divine Persuasion – Faith, to Have or Exercise Force Literally or Figuratively – and Be Able to Prevail.Strength is an important by-product of DependenceI know your [record of] works and what you are doing.
