Trump and Putin's Alaska Summit is Nothing More Than Political Theatre

Trump’s upcoming meeting with Putin in Alaska is nothing more than a publicity stunt, and the media should treat it as such. Donald Trump is simply following the script given to him by his Russian mothership. Ukraine is poised to be painted as the bad guy, when Trump inevitably brokers a “peace deal” that requires them relenting territory and Zelenskyy has no choice to deny it. If Ukraine were to accept anything less than the full return and respect of their sovereignty, it would only be the beginning of democracy’s global fall.
