Trump deepfakes and TikTok’s troubling algorithm reveal our deepest need

While Donald Trump remains a free man as of this writing, that news may come as a shock to millions of people who have already seen pictures of him getting arrested and thrown to the ground by police. It turns out those pictures were the convincing results of an AI art generator.
