Trump Envoys Push Peace Talks in Ukraine | Miami News

Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner just returned from high-stakes diplomacy trips to Moscow and Kyiv, pitching a peace plan with “a good chance” of working — the first such visit since Trump’s re-election. Zelenskyy signaled Ukraine’s need for security guarantees while welcoming European advisors into talks. The U.S. team also thanked Putin for releasing American teacher Robert Gilman after his 2022 detention, and the Pope weighed in, urging tangible peace outcomes.
