Trump guilty verdict: Analysis, reaction and what it means for the presidential election

from Up Close with Bill Ritter · host WABC-TV, Bill Ritter

Former President Trump was defiant moments after a jury in Manhattan found him guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to try to cover up allegations of an affair with a porn star, this so that voters for the presidential election in 2016 wouldn't know about it. He’s the first former president to become a felon. But he's still running for president as the Republican candidate.  So how will these guilty verdicts affect the race for the White House? Our guests this morning are former Republican New York Congressman Lee Zeldin and Democratic Congressman Tom Suozzi. Plus, analysis from our political team – ABC News political director Rick Klein and political consultant Hank Sheinkopf. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
