Trump/Iran Strikes/Courageous Leadership Is Rare

Send us Fan MailSeason 2, Episode #56. Not Me, But You! Podcast. A quick episode about leadership and President Trump's decision to strike Iran. In life, courageous leadership is rare! Notice I'm NOT saying that you need to agree with the decision Trump made. But I AM pointing out that it takes courage to make tough decisions even when, as a leader, you know that people oppose your decision and you will need to deal with your decision being unpopular with some segment of society. Critics are everywhere. It doesn't take much talent at all to be a critic. And everyone has an opinion, so how valuable are opinions alone? I don't personally care if you agree with Trump or disagree with him. I believe this was a tough decision for him. But this is what courageous leaders do. They take action, KNOWING that their decision will be unpopular. Courageous leaders are RARE in life. And courageous leaders are often willing to do, what no one else will do. They take on personal risk. This is part of the battle of being human. You assess a situation and you make a decision. Some of our decisions will turn out to be wrong/incorrect. That doesn't matter ultimately. What does matter is are you a person of integrity and authenticity. Can you perform as a leader consistently without being impressed by your own title? I pray for peace tonight, all over the world. I get downloads in Iran. I pray for their people, the Middle East, and for people all over the planet. I wish you peace and prosperity and happiness moving forward. Investing involves risk/courage also.
