Too many people are making every important political debate about the decision of whether to vote for a flawed Trump over Harris. Today, I offer a unique insight into Trump’s betrayal of the life cause. We need to divorce the strategic decision of whom to vote for from our broader beliefs and activism. One can still reluctantly vote for Trump but not excuse his nonsense and, in fact, double down on fighting against abortion amendments. I broaden this discussion to other issues as well to show that we represent much more than a five-minute decision on a ballot once every four years. Also, if you sell yourself as an influencer, your job is to influence the politicians on behalf of the people, not to influence the people on behalf of the politicians.
