Trump on Khamenei’s Health and Hormuz | US News

Trump claims Iran’s supreme leader, Khamenei, was seriously injured in an airstrike but is still alive, citing damage to his left side. He also says U.S. forces have cleared mines from the Strait of Hormuz, restoring commercial traffic despite occasional attacks — calling it “very functioning.” The war’s toll, with billions in damage and thousands dead, underscores the stakes. Meanwhile, Iran and Oman quietly coordinate temporary shipping routes as Gulf nations resume oil exports. Trump calls Iran “not the most honorable group,” highlighting the ongoing tension as regional stability remains fragile.
