Trump Says United Ireland Would Be Great | Belfast News

President Trump dropped a surprising bombshell during his Ireland trip, declaring he’d “love to see” a united Ireland—and called it a “great thing.” The bold remark, made after meeting Taoiseach Micheál Martin at Farmleigh House, adds fresh fuel to an already complex debate, especially since the UK PM recently ruled out a referendum. While Trump’s visit also included golf at his property and a speech, the political statement stood out—especially as he framed reunification as something that “will happen eventually.” The Taoiseach welcomed the U.S. leader warmly, hoping for an Irish golf win to cap off a “remarkable sporting summer.” Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
