Senator Jd Vance held the stage with grace and poise last night, absolutely running circles around Governor Tim Walz. He was kind, articulate and effective with his messaging. If there were any doubts about him before, they were quenched last night, as the new young leader of the Republican Party emerged. JD even had Democrats on their heels on the abortion issue for possibly the first time ever. The state controlled Democratic media did everything they could to be nasty and fact-check him while he confidently broke the 4th wall à la "Jim" in The Office. Tim Walz looked like a deer in headlights when asked plainly and directly about being in Tiananmen Square during the protests. The former unpaid assistant football coach fumbled multiple times during the debate and even saying that he's "friends with school shooters."
