Trump tariffs: What's the status, and what can U.S. shoppers expect?
from WWJ: On-Demand
Many Americans are feeling the squeeze from higher prices on everything from groceries to cars, because of the current tariffs. Under The Trade Act of 1974, President Trump put 10% global tariffs on most goods — after the Supreme Court ruled that many of his previous tariffs were unlawful. Wayne State University associate professor Dr. Jeff Rightmer says these tariffs can stay in place until the end of July, which is when Congress can decide whether or not to renew them. So, what can U.S. consumers expect? Rightmer spoke with WWJ's Amanda Forrester. (Photo: Getty Images)
