Donald Trump heeft ‘Bevrijdingsdag’ gevierd nu zijn heffingen zijn ingegaan. Als het aan hem ligt is het het begin van een nieuwe periode van welvaart. Amerikanist Koen Petersen denkt dat Trump vooral op het sentiment in wil spelen dat Amerika jarenlang benadeeld is door andere landen.
