Trump’s Golden Statue

In episode 30, I’ll take a look at “Don Colossus,” the idolatrous 22ft golden statue that was dedicated to Donald J. Trump. For Christians, this ought to be a huge story, and yet there has been an overwhelming silence. Nevertheless, God will not be mocked. He is jealous for his own name, and he does not share his glory with anyone. God alone is worthy of worship.While many people have ignored the erecting of this idol, it is interesting in several ways. First, while it was reported that MAGA Evangelical leaders dedicated this statue, on a closer analysis: we see only one Charismatic Zionist pastor, standing together with three Rabbis, and one of Jeffry Epstein’s clients. The story only gets more interesting from there.We will see that this was an act of worship and dedication along similar lines as Nebuchadnezzar and his golden image. This goes back to the ancient heathen idea of “divine-kingship” or the “god-king.” This image of Trump points us back to the Jews and Israel. They believe Trump is the Gentile “god-king” who will help make the way for their Jewish Messiah.This podcast will cover a lot. We will see that this statue likely has symbolic meaning in Talmudic Judaism and Kabbalah. Then, we will look at what the Bible has to say from the Old to New Testament, and how Scripture teaches one consistent message.
