Americans are growing increasingly frustrated with the war with Iran, rising fuel prices, and the lack of a clear path toward ending the conflict.In this episode of Political Bomb Show, Ra’ Sean Blyden looks at the political consequences facing President Donald Trump as public support for the Iran war continues to fall. A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll placed Trump’s approval rating at 33%, while only 31% of Americans supported the military action and 83% expected the conflict to drag on.The conflict also puts the Strait of Hormuz front and center. The U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates that roughly 20% of global petroleum liquids consumption moves through this critical shipping route, making continued escalation a direct concern for oil markets, gasoline prices, and household affordability.Meanwhile, the United States is looking toward Venezuela as part of a long-term energy strategy.
