Peace is found in Jesus when we are able to contain and control our thought life. Everyone has problems with negative thoughts and fears we are not to live in a state of FEAR. God gives us tools in his word to help us overcome fear and anxiety. He is the author of peace and in his presence, we have perfect peace. We make decisions every day that affect our ability to walk out that peace. Guard your thoughts and you guard your life. Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–His good, pleasing and perfect will.
