"Trust in the Lord"

July 30, 2024 Daily Devotion: "Trust in the Lord" Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. God doesn’t say, “Understand me.” He says, “Trust me.” Trusting without understanding takes a brave faith. There will be many times when we don’t understand what God is doing. But God is faithful, and we know He is good, so we can trust Him with all of our heart. Our own understanding cannot comprehend the greatness of God’s will and plan for our lives. Being brave to trust even when we don’t understand is like stepping out of a boat in the middle of a lake because Jesus said so. We can be brave to trust because of what we know about our God: He will always show you which path to take.
