TRUSTING GOD IN UNCERTAIN TIMES

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Devotional Message: Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV) Life can feel unsettling when the path ahead is unclear. Questions arise. Plans fall apart. The future seems like a blur. But Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us that faith thrives in the unknown—not because we understand everything, but because God does. Trusting God in uncertain times means surrendering the need to control outcomes. It’s leaning into His character when you can't trace His hand. It’s choosing to believe that His wisdom is greater than your worry and His purpose is deeper than your pain. Uncertainty is often the soil where deep trust grows. When the road is foggy and answers are few, God invites you to walk by faith, not by sight, and rely on Him completely. Today, ask yourself: Am I trusting God with my whole heart, even when I don’t have all the answers? Where am I leaning on my own understanding instead of submitting to Him? Prayer: Almighty Father, in these uncertain times, I choose to trust You. Quiet my anxious thoughts and align my heart with Your will. Lead me one step at a time, and remind me that You are faithful, even when I can’t see the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
