Trusting God When Life Feels Unfair

from Quiet In The Night · host Bill Scott

Trusting God When Life Feels Unfair Life often feels unfair—when circumstances don't make sense, when bad things happen to good people, or when it feels like everything is falling apart. In these moments, it's easy to question God's goodness and His plans for us. Yet, Scripture encourages us to trust Him, even when our hearts are heavy and our understanding is limited. Psalm 34:19 reminds us, "The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all." While life may bring difficulties, God promises to walk through them with us. We are never alone in our pain. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. When life seems unfair, we must choose to trust God's wisdom, knowing that His perspective is far broader than our own. He sees the bigger picture, and His love for us is constant, even when circumstances are hard. Remember, God is faithful, and He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). In the face of life's unfairness, trust that He is with you, working on your behalf, even when you can't see it.
