Trusting God When Life Isn't Fair

from Quiet In The Night · host Bill Scott

When life feels unfair, it's easy to question God's plan. We face challenges, disappointments, and heartaches that seem undeserved. But trusting God when life isn't fair is an act of faith that deepens our relationship with Him. He doesn't promise a life without pain, but He does promise to be with us through it all (Isaiah 41:10). When we face difficulties, it's important to remember that God sees the bigger picture. He knows what's happening in the world and in our hearts, even when we don't understand why things are unfolding as they are. In Romans 8:28, we're reminded that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him." Even in the most painful moments, God is working behind the scenes to bring about His purposes. Trusting God doesn't mean we won't feel hurt or confusion, but it means we choose to believe that He is good and sovereign. It means surrendering our need for answers and choosing peace, knowing that God holds us in His hands. As we trust in His love and plan, we can find the strength to face any trial with confidence, knowing He will never leave us.
