Trusting Jesus in the Wilderness

Pastor Steve Frissell describes wilderness seasons as unexpected times of hardship, isolation, or spiritual dryness, and traces how God used them to care for and form Hagar, Moses, and Israel. Jesus relives Israel’s wilderness story, remains faithful through temptation, and shows compassion by providing for a crowd in a deserted place. The sermon presents Jesus as the Bread of Life and encourages people in hardship to bring their doubts and pain to him, trusting that the wilderness is a place of formation, not the final destination.
