When life feels overwhelming and circumstances point to fear, it is easy to forget that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it. In 2 Kings 6, Elisha's servant woke to find an enemy army surrounding their city and panicked. But Elisha prayed that his servant's eyes would be opened, and suddenly the hillside was filled with God's army of horses and chariots of fire. The army had been there the whole time. This is the pattern of God throughout all of Scripture. He has always been making a way, providing, protecting, and guiding His people even when they could not see how it would work out. Unseen does not mean undone.
