Truth & Reconciliation - "Forgive Us Our Sins" - Scott Roe
from The Cambridge Vineyard Podcast · host The Cambridge Vineyard Church
September 30 has been declared as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day set aside for Canadians to honour the indigenous people of this land, and acknowledge our role in coming alongside those who have suffered unspeakable harm. Much harm was caused as a result of the Residential Schools which were operated by the Church and founded by the Canadian government. But the time has come to not only acknowledge the wrong that has been done, but to take tangible steps to learn from the indigenous people and to walk with them towards reconciliation and healing. We have a responsibility to God and to the indigenous people of Canada to take this journey. This Sunday is the first step on that journey.
