Truth Be Told: I Am Not Enough

Traditional Worship | Rev. Karen Tyler | The one thing that separated Jesus from all the prophets who came before or after Him was His insistence on His disciples knowing the truth. To Jesus, truth was more than simple honesty; it was a concept rooted in God’s character. He taught that through truth, we come to understand God’s faithfulness and the dependability of His words and actions. In contrast, lies are the enemy of truth. The Evil One, who spreads false teachings, tries to have us live in a false narrative about who we are, how the world works and even the nature of God Himself. This sermon series is about defining what is truth, how we find it and the specific lies that hold our faith captive.
