The group’s gifted musicians also included late, great bassist Mark Adams and guitarist Mark Hicks; multi-instrumentalist Steve Washington; horn player Floyd Miller; and later on, drummer-singer Steve Arrington, guitarist-singer Curt Jones and keyboardist Sam Carter – the latter four have all been featured on past TRUTH IN RHYTHM episodes.  Slave’s classic jams include “Slide,” “Just a Touch of Love,” “Stellar Fungk,” “Just Freak,” “Volcano Rupture,” “Watching You,” “Wait for Me,” “Stone Jam,” “Snap Shot,” “Baby Sinister” and “Sizzlin’ Hot.” Some of Slave’s members went on to more success with acts like Aurra & Steve Arrington’s Hall of Fame.
