Good morning everyone. Today I will be reading the fourth short form article writing that I committed to myself out of the 11th which I'm supposed to do within a span of one month that got published in coffee times publications with medium.com Okay, the topic is this Try this one technique and you will never regret that your reading time was wasted and the subtopic is learning and internalizing new terms like arrival fallacy dopamine dip and blue feeling I Experienced what I call the blue feeling when I completed the 28 minutes workout that I intended and other chores well before the time I expected then I searched for My own term that I created goal accomplished anxiety in Google funny, right? I bumped into a well-researched and written article and read it aloud to internalize the message Here is the article why you might feel empty after reaching a huge goal and How to move on so I give the reference I've given the link in the article I highly recommend you read it Now, you know that I ask questions to myself. So this is the first question What new terms from the above article made me curious to research and learn more?

Number one arrival fallacy So I'm a fallacy is the belief is the belief that when you arrive at a certain destination You will be happy the next term which I'm going to discuss which I learned is dopamine dip that explains why I should question My belief that when you arrive a certain destination will be happy. It's never going to be that way Okay, let's see dopamine that the brain releases dopamine a hormone associated with both motivation and happiness in anticipation of reward So when you plan and know you are going to work for something You are in a biological position to feel good biological position to feel good Each milestone gives you another dopamine hit Which makes you want to keep going with the job? But when you reach your goal that release of dopamine drops It's harder for your biochemical for you biochemically to have joy So the release of dopamine drops. It's harder for you to biologically have joy.

That's the reason why I experienced that Bloom whatever not blue. It's the feeling blue feeling blue. All right Okay, the next one the blue feeling so the three words I said right for the world You might call it gloominess or be down in the tops while you could briefly feel a little down for no clear reason See guys no clear reason you can often trace the sadness that comes with a blue mood to specific circumstances If you have the so-called blues you might feel sad or Tearful want to spend time by yourself and lack your usual energy or motivation These feelings usually tended to be pretty mild though And they generally pass before too long temporary blues might set some of your usual cheer But they generally won't keep you from your typical daily routine Okay, next the question I asked myself Which section of the article made me consciously want to apply what I read So I learned three terms by reading the article the second question I asked was which section of the article made me consciously want to apply what I read So, okay, so now at the end they discussed in this article Five ways to get going again and prevent more blues in future. So obviously I was curious You know what I finished this working out and other things way before than expected But then I'm not I'm feeling some type of a sadness or blue whatever it is, right?

So that is why I wanted to know learn more. So now having read this article. I wanted to What to say I want to apply something which I'm not already doing so that I come I can prevent I can prevent that's a keyword Okay, so five ways to get going again and prevent more blues in future and there are five I'm going to assess the four of the one of them which I wanted to apply which I'm not doing is mentor mentor So after learning and mentoring can prevent blues after reading this article. I am open to considering mentoring in future.

Okay See the thing you know when I think of mentoring because I do get this I do have my friends my letters Um, my well, we should say, you know what you should you know mentor then I said who am I to mentor? Oh, I don't have this all right all these things right now I'm gonna put this mentor even if it's gonna be for five minutes to mentor someone or probably I'm already mentoring through the podcast Then I should say hey, let me tell you mentoring already You can do one-on-one But if if the time is the time is an issue don't do that or sometimes if you feel that oh you must charge for your mentoring Or something like that. So if there is a blockage coming up If there is a break coming up when you are in the accelerator mode then be watchful and do what suits you? I'm just telling myself Okay, the next question I asked myself was which section made me feel good about the fact I'm already doing these and remind myself to do more to prevent blues that I experienced just now Again, it's the same heading in the article ink.

It is probably something in ink.com Five ways to get going and prevent more blues and future come up with so that other four days come up with lots of baskets Number two create a sequence and pause and sequence number three pause and reflect and take some time to find you So I'm gonna cover each of these four in my opinion I'm already doing it and so if it can help preventing blues, I want to do more So number one is come up with lots of baskets. Yes. I consider writing podcasting cooking doing rungolis Meditation exercising meaningful conversations with my family members and friends volunteering these all these icons that's different baskets So I do have number two create a sequence. I have a daily routine.

Okay, so I do have a sequence like you know morning I should be listening to this Do these type of um audio is watching this thing watching watching I don't do much because when you watch something you're just committed to being there So that is like for me Not a morning thing at all and then um meditating um Meditating and then writing writing writing podcasting so like that I've got sequence for me And I also realize that if I'm too rigid about the sequence then also I get uh, you know, I don't start hating myself That's not a good thing, right? So I'm also now allowing spontaneity to come in So I do have a daily routine regardless of whether I do personal or business work embracing the routine has immensely immensely contributed to my inspired living The third one pause and reflect I do this at least twice a day I do the twice a day if um at least twice sometimes more so I write a gratitude journal Okay, thinking of all the things that went well and that will go well I assume that everything will go well and reflecting on the events like for example I just sit down after I finished my cooking or something like this sit down take a notebook I just thank god for giving me quick decision as to what I should make today and um so many things small small things Which we don't think normal which we don't think of thanking god or thanking the universe or expressing gratitude I do that I do that forgiving me that idea for giving me that compassion for helping me Uh, you know speak the right words to my you know to my sons or my friends So that we our conversation seemed more healthier meaningful. So I sit and write all those things I take a pause. I do that And I also reflect on like which could have been better.

I write it for me writing is definitely huge And it's uh, it's been helpful. Okay. The third one is take some time to find you I personally think that this finding me happens when I meditate so I do different types of meditation I learn from different masters. I learn from mindbelly.com.

I learn from Sadhguru. I learn from Deepak Chopra And then I just have my own um basket of meditations. Yeah, medley So I do that um then I've been a walk outside when I'm enjoying nature Then I also I think I find myself. I I truly do that.

It happens to me. Okay Anyway, the last uh, this thing is take a wee and sedition I realized that I was consciously watching my reactions to what I was reading having quick access to searching Like google helped me to look for a meaning look for the meaning of the name I gave to my feeling I say I was feeling I just gave a name. I didn't say I'm feeling sad or something there I said goal accomplished exactly. I mean I've accomplished everything still I've like um, I got the thing Exactly.

So, uh, google helped me look for the meaning of the name I gave to my feeling asking powerful specific questions help me address my feelings by researching and learning more More importantly, I know able to complete my fourth of the 11 short form articles that I committed to myself Right by putting my experiences in writing and now I'm even recording a podcast huge, right huge It's like creation creation of several things And and somebody else will be listening to the podcast reading my articles and if they are benefiting that's so huge for me, right? Again, dopamine hit. So I recommend my readers to try this technique.
