TRY TRY TRY

from Be Encouraged

Welcome to the Face to Face episode titled "Try, Try, Try." If your motivation is driven by the constant need to do, you might find yourself trapped in a cycle of never-ending tasks. It's like living in a world of "do-do," where no task ever truly satisfies. This mindset has crept into many Christian gatherings, where phrases like "more" and "greater" are often heard, echoing from behind the pews, reminiscent of Adam and Eve's desire for more. People sometimes feel that God has left them lacking, and with a little help from their own desires and fleshly ambitions, they believe they can accomplish what God has supposedly left undone. It's a pursuit of knowing good things and avoiding bad behavior. But let's reflect on 1 Corinthians 3:20, which reminds us that the Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, and it's considered useless. Useless for what, you may ask? Useless for producing a godly life. No amount of trying can manufacture God's presence in our lives. Instead, we can trust that God has already completed us. In other words, our constant striving and efforts to do more are not the path to true fulfillment in our spiritual journey. It's about recognizing that God's work in us is already finished, and we can find contentment in His completing us.
